VGA BIOS conflict
Permalink

Hi,

I am just wondering if anyone can help with my problem? There is a BIOS conflict with the display, which I think consequently it cannot install the video card and monitor software. This is what I am getting:

1.       Input/output Range 03b0-03bb used by

VIA TECH CPU to AGP controller

2.         Input/output Range 03C0-03DF used by

VIA TECH CPU to AGP controller

3.         Memory range 000A000-000BFFFF used by

VIA TECH CPU to AGP controller

How can I resolve the conflict?

Thanks for your help.

Firstly, how have you ascertained it to be a BIOS conflict? The memory ranges your quoting are from an OS - presumably windows.

if it is the BIOS then it's time to:

1. BIOS flash

2. New graphics card or BIOS flash (VGA BIOS that is)

3. New mobo
